I've never used a blog before, so I'm still kind of learning how this whole thing works on the fly. Let me know if I messed something up and you can't see the image I'm posting.

is the first page, for the most part complete. Please let me know what
you all think! I'm still working on a 3D SketchUp Model, and my
reconstruction of the Aquaponics Diagram, along with a model.

Christine! Looks great so far! Some little thoughts of improvement:
ReplyDelete-The font could use some work. I'd maybe try a different one, one that doesn't have such bubbliness and space all around it. Also, I say no underlines. You are giving the same hierarchical effect by changing the font size and if you need more variations, bold or italics is better.
-As a whole, I really like the arrow flow diagram. Very clear. I'd play around with the arrows more though. Their size is very big in comparison to the line width. I'd either reduce the arrow size or play around with the shape / proportions.
-Did you make all of those maps? We want to see your work, in general, because its showing to us not only the information but the information you're reading, interpreting, and extracting.
-I'd play around with the larger map. The image looks a little gritty - I'm not sure why, but almost as though its been rasterized. It could use sharpening. What is the difference between the squares and the circular or blobby points on the map? They should be clearly indicating something if they are different and might need some more differentiation.
-Also, how does the Aquaponics diagram or model you'll be making fit into the flow diagram on the organization?
Otherwise, huge improvements! Can't wait to see your SketchUp model etc.!
