I'm trying to map these hexagons to a surface like the one shown in the screenshot. Anyone know how to do this? All the online tutorials seem to be about grasshoper......
hey austin- you are correct, this is a grasshopper project. but, there is also a plug-in for rhino that performs the necessary scripts in the rhino interface, called paneling tools. (google it to find links and videos of how it works).
also, there's another plug-in not directly about this, but you might find it interesting and useful, called point set reconstruction tools: http://wiki.mcneel.com/labs/pointsetreconstruction
