I like how the outward facades maintain a clean appearance and the interior acts like a trough. Christine and I talked about this and we do not want to funnel water into the opening. I think that the zone surrounding the penetration needs to be revised but the water collection is still intended to be routed to an aquaponics system and cistern for gray water system.
